Drone Dominance x Flightstack Inc.
Flightstack is responding to the Drone Dominance program.
We bring proven OWA drone production capability, NDAA-compliant component sourcing, and deep FPV expertise to support the Department’s mission for large-scale, low-cost one-way attack drone production.
Why Flightstack
FPV-Native Expertise: Our team consists of FPV pilots, builders, and engineers who understand OWA flight dynamics, manual piloting requirements, and real-world operational constraints. We don’t just assemble drones — we fly them.
Proven Production: Current capacity of 400 to 1,000 drones per month with established assembly, QC, and fulfillment operations. We have delivered defense drone orders on aggressive timelines.
Field-Ready Team: Our production team operates with rapid prototyping capabilities enabling near real-time iterative feedback response. When requirements change in the field, we adapt quickly.
Mission Experience: Our team has hands-on experience with both OWA platforms and reusable payload delivery systems (precision drop missions). We understand the operational differences and design requirements for each mission profile.
NDAA-Compliant Supply Chain: We design around components already trusted in Blue UAS and NDAA ecosystems. Our modular platform approach allows rapid adaptation to evolving compliance requirements.
USA-Based Operations: Final assembly, integration, testing, and quality control performed in the United States with full supply chain visibility.
OWA Modular Platform
Our platform is designed for the OWA mission: modular carbon fiber construction, pre-designed mounting solutions for common munitions, rapid assembly, and tight packaging for deployment.
Design Philosophy

- Modularity: Field serviceability and component-level repair
- Modular Mounting: Standardized mounting points for payloads, droppers, and accessories
- AI Compute Integration: Pre-designed mounting for onboard AI compute modules
- Autopilot Ready: Compatible with autonomous flight and waypoint mission systems
- Iterative AI Training: Platform designed to support continuous AI model improvement through real-world flight data
- Packing & Shipping: Compact form factor for efficient logistics and deployment
- USA Manufacturing: Cut, manufactured, and assembled domestically
Platform Variants
- OWA Strike: Optimized for one-way attack missions with munition integration
- Precision Delivery: Reusable platform for payload drop and return missions
- Training: Durable, cost-effective variant for operator training and proficiency
- ISR: Extended flight time configuration for reconnaissance and surveillance
NDAA-Compliant Components
- Video Links: Analog, low-band, and HD variants available (including Divimath NDAA-compliant digital FPV)
- Command & Control: TBS Crossfire, multi-band ELRS options
- Data/Mesh Networking: Secure IP datalink and mesh radio integration capable
- Flight Control: H7 flight controllers with Betaflight or Ardupilot
Autonomous Guidance (In Development)
Flightstack is actively developing internal AI-assisted guidance systems for pilot assistance. These systems are designed to provide autonomous target acquisition and mission completion capabilities in the event of video link or control link loss. Progress is being made daily on ensuring mission continuity regardless of link status.
Manufacturing Capacity
Current State
- Production: 400 to 1,000 drones per month at current scale
- Model: In-house assembly with third-party component specialists
- Trajectory: Actively transitioning more processes in-house for vertical integration
Phase I Approach
NDAA-compliant off-the-shelf components with USA-based assembly. We can meet the timeline and price targets specified while ensuring compliance for the majority of covered electronics.
Phase II Scaling
Strategic partnerships and expanded production capacity:
- Strategic partnerships with USA-based component manufacturers
- Established relationships with platform integrators for additional scaled production
- Expanded in-house assembly line capacity
- Increased vertical integration
Phase III+ Scaling
In-house manufacturing equipment for scaled production and wartime readiness:
- Motor winding capability acquisition
- Carbon fiber cutting and frame manufacturing
- Full vertical integration for supply chain independence
- Surge capacity for wartime production requirements
Team & Expertise
Our core team combines FPV community credentials with professional manufacturing experience:
- FPV specialists with competition and commercial flight experience
- Product designers with custom frame development background
- Electronics and robotics integration expertise
- Established retail and fulfillment operations (WREKD)
- Quality control and technical documentation processes
Proven Track Record
We have launched real-world FPV/UAS products into market and sold through major FPV retailers in the USA. Our team has:
- Designed and sold thousands of custom FPV drone frames
- Manufactured and assembled thousands of bind-and-fly FPV drones at our facility
- Established distribution through major USA FPV retail channels
We understand that OWA operations require pilots trained specifically in FPV manual flight — skills that don’t transfer from other UAS platforms. Our team trains operators and configures systems for mission success.
Training & Field Support
We provide real-world on-site training for operators and help build out SOPs to train warfighters how to fly, fix, and maintain their drones in operational environments.
With extensive background in understanding what can and will inevitably go wrong in the field, we have developed training requirements and SOPs that ensure pilots are able to operate and maintain their drones in real-time.
- On-site operator training programs
- SOP development for unit-specific requirements
- Field maintenance and repair training
- Troubleshooting procedures for common failure modes
- Spare parts kitting and field repair documentation
Fleet Integration
Every build is configured for the specific mission and operator requirements:
- Pre-configured ELRS binding to customer radios
- Betaflight mode configuration to operator preference
- Payload-specific tuning (weight distribution, flight characteristics)
- Servo integration for payload release mechanisms
- GPS/Remote ID configuration based on field requirements
We maintain direct connection between build team and end-users for continuous improvement and rapid iteration when requirements change.
Quality & Documentation
- Comprehensive assembly SOPs with build time metrics
- QC checklists at each production stage
- Pre-pack verification procedures
- Pre-flight testing and validation
- Wiring documentation and firmware configuration records
- Batch tracking and configuration control
Partnership Opportunities
We are all in this together. Meeting the demands of Drone Dominance requires collective effort across the defense industrial base. Flightstack welcomes partnerships with:
- USA-based component manufacturers looking for integration partners
- Platform integrators seeking proven FPV production capability
- Defense primes requiring agile UAS subcontractors
- AI/autonomy companies needing hardware integration partners
- Training organizations requiring standardized platforms
If you share our mission to deliver capable, affordable, and scalable OWA systems to the warfighter, let’s talk.
